Privacy & data

MyLittlePlot's current free planner runs without an account. We do not deliberately save your postcode, growing-space choices or generated plan to an application database.

Postcode lookup

When you submit a postcode, your browser sends it to the third-party Postcodes.io service to retrieve a general location label. That provider may process request information according to its own policies. If the lookup fails, the app can still show general UK planting guidance.

Saving your 30-day adventure

If you mark gardening missions complete, your browser saves the five mission completion flags and the currently selected mission in local storage on your device. This is only for restoring your progress when you return; it is not an analytics identifier and is not sent to our database. You can clear it by removing this site's browser data. It is not synced across devices, and your postcode is not included in this saved progress.

Hosting and analytics

The website is hosted using Floot. Like most hosting services, infrastructure may process standard request information such as IP addresses for security and operations. We use Floot's built-in privacy-conscious analytics in memory-only mode to count page views and anonymous interactions, including plan generation and interest in future features. It does not store an analytics session identifier on your device. We have not added advertising trackers or a marketing mailing list.

Gardening information

Crop suggestions are informational and approximate, not a precise local weather forecast. The optional £9.99 Garden Success Pack uses Stripe for secure payment. Paid access is verified using the Stripe checkout session and order details stored in our database. The private paid dashboard saves your crop stages, checklist ticks and garden notes in your browser storage on this device; they are not automatically synced to another device. Calendar reminders are optional and are imported into your own calendar app when you choose to download them. Weather tips are seasonal guidance, not live local forecasts.
